Fortnum & Mason of Piccadilly, London, is one of the most well-known department stores in the world. Often overlooked by its Knightsbridge neighbour Harrods, it sells some lovely bone china. This pair of gold-leaf high tea cups with a strainer is quite pricey, but perfect for those feeling indulgent or for a wedding gift.

Top hat tea strainer

I love this cute tea strainer from London’s oldest department store, Fortnum & Mason. Add tea leaves to this strainer and put it directly in your cup or mug then simply throw away the leaves after brewing. I like the small touch of engraving the word ‘tea’ in different languages around the strainer’s rim.
